This project involved the construction of a 250,000 SF high-bay, structural-steel panel building. The building is part of a river clean-up facility and houses equipment used to treat sediment dredged out of the Lower Fox River. As a result of this project’s tight time schedule, construction began before the design was complete. This forced the Miron project team to work through different issues as they arose.

Frequent meetings between a full-time quality control professional, a full-time safety individual, a full-time project manager, and the Owner ensured Miron completed the typically forty-week project in thirteen weeks. This collaborative effort saved the Owner from paying substantial penalties to federal agencies. Utilization of seven cranes, four forklifts, and thirteen boom lifts on site simultaneously also assisted in the rapid successful completion. At the completion of this building, the Miron project team had poured 22,000 cubic yards of steel-reinforced concrete.
