Boys and Girls Brigade - Camp Onaway
Waupaca, Wisconsin
Camp Onaway is an 11,189-square-foot, one-story facility with a walkout basement. Located on a 6½ acre island, it can only be reached by either boat or over the ice when the lake is frozen. Although seminars and retreats are held at Camp Onaway, it is mainly used during the summer for week-long camps.

This facility now features a modernized kitchen and first aid facility, a central dining hall with a round fireplace, and storm shelters for campers. It also boasts an oak floor with compass inlay and pine walls and ceilings, as well as an elevator and stair tower. For the first time ever on the island there are staff living quarters and bathrooms attached to the dining hall. Now campers will benefit from more modern day conveniences, and they will also have a centralized location for activities.
